Ford Germany: Do knot forget

Interesting idea… not new but interesting. The goal of the ad is to remind customers that Ford cars have Bluetooth wireless. The ad is interesting because wires are a hassle in the car — chargers, adaptors, etc.. So having a wireless enabled car is really nice.

But the ad falls short. It uses a pun (a no-no in advertising unless your name is on the building). The message is lost/confusing.

Ditch the “Do knot forget” part of the headline and rename the knots (something related to the problem of wires getting all knotted up) instead of real names. And (k)not so many. 1 image sells the idea. Don’t blow your wad all at once.
